As we emerge from lockdown and the British summer temps soar, we're dreaming of anywhere other than our four walls at home right now. So, where are the most sought-after destinations here on our own isle?
It probably comes as no surprise, but according to an Express article, the number one spot is Cornwall. As many people say that they're rather going to holiday in the UK, even if the travel restrictions ease up.
Further down the list includes, Devon, Dorset and Somerset. Then further North to Scotland.

Take in the nature walks, rambling around the Lake District or head to York for the medieval streets and it's Viking past. Along the coasts and country lanes to the hub of the cities dotted around this island, we're sure you'll find something for every one.
